Save Secrets

These secrets are extremely important. They have complete access to your funds in Madhouse Wallet. If these secrets get lost or compromised, Madhouse Wallet cannot do anything to recover your funds. As a result, we recommend that you save your secrets by physically writing them down and storing that in a fireproof safe that only you have access to. In this video, we do not do that. We just save the secrets to the iCloud Keychain for Apple devices. This is generally a safe thing to do, but in the event that Apple blocks access to your account, you will not be able to access your secrets and the money in your wallet might be compromised. So please use this video as a potential way to store your secrets but not the best recommended way to store them.

Never share your secrets with anyone! In this video, we show our secrets as an example for demonstration purposes, but users should never share their secrets in practice. We discuss best practices for risk managment here.
